Communities across the world are being hit by an unprecedented wave of natural disasters.

From hurricanes in the United States, to earthquakes in New Zealand. From wild fires and floods in Australia and tsunamis in Japan it seems barely a week goes by without a new disaster leaving more communities on the long road to recovery.

A growing network of artists and cultural and community workers are taking the lead in helping their communities recover through creativity. The aim of the Creative Recovery Network is to share knowledge and build a network of artists ready to support communities in meeting future challenges.
