Art Partners was an inclusive program that encouraged people of all abilities to participate in community art classes and activities in Bunbury, Western Australia.
The Art Partners pilot project was launched in 2011. Following a successful pilot, Art Partners continued with support from the Disability Services Commission, the Department of Culture and the Arts, Cristal, Enable Southwest, the City of Bunbury, Aqwest, Activ Foundation, and Edith Cowan University. Auspicing was provided by Enable Southwest. A host of other corporate and individual donors contributed to make Art Partners a reality for the Bunbury community.
During school terms, Art Partners supported partnerships working out of the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries, The Red Mill Studio Gallery and the Stirling Street Arts Centre. Participants were involved in a range of activities including painting, pottery, lead lighting and collage.
The version of Art Partners featured here ended in December 2016.
