Executive Director - National Rural Health Alliance
Gregory has been Executive Director of the National Rural Health Alliance since August 1993. The NRHA is the peak non-government body working to improve the health of people throughout rural and remote Australia. It organises the biennial National Rural Health Conference and is owner-manager of the Australian Journal of Rural Health. It is also the national management agency for the Australian Government of the Rural Australia Medical Undergraduate Scholarship (RAMUS) Scheme and the Rural Health Continuing Education Stream Two (RHCE2).
Before 1993 Gordon worked at the Rural Development Centre at the University of New England, and then for nearly eight years in Canberra on the personal staff of a Federal Minister as an adviser on rural affairs, horticulture and fisheries.
