The Eyre Peninsula Region
Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula region covers a significant area of the state and includes part of the upper Spencer gulf and the City of Whyalla. It stretches across the southern boundaries of the Gawler Ranges, west of Ceduna to the edge of the Nullabor Plain and south to Port Lincoln, covering more than five million hectares.. The region has a third of South Australia's coastline, spread over 2,400 km, plus 254 offshore islands. The region's future economic well being is almost entire reliant on a well managed and sustainable suite of natural resources.
