BE is an Australian community, arts and cultural development organisation that creates art projects for people living on the margins of their communities to tell their stories and engage with new futures.

BE uses the arts to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in regional Australia. We support artists working in Community, Arts and Cultural Development (CACD) to create new opportunities for marginalised people to engage with their communities. BE focuses on a range of art forms including film, digital media, music, dance, theatre, public art installation and small and large-scale visual arts.

BE is a Key Producer with the Australia Council for the Arts’ Community Partnerships.
