I took up the position as National Landcare Facilitator in January 2009. I have an extensive background in agriculture and rural affairs at the State and National level, including recent positions as Executive Director for Sustainable Agriculture with Queensland Dept Primary Industries, Chief Executive Officer AgForce Queensland and Executive Director of the Cattle Council of Australia.

In my role as the National Landcare Facilitator I advocate for the Landcare ethos and supports community Landcare through an advisory role. I have a special focus on sustainable production in the primary industry sector, together with the engagement and participation of community groups in natural resource management programs. It is part of the national component of Caring for Our Country, along with the Australian Landcare Council, Landcare Australia Limited and the Caring for Our Country Facilitator network.
