Graham is Director of the Orange Regional Conservatorium (NSW), and Adjunct Lecturer with the School of Teacher Education at Charles Sturt University. Responsible for developing community-focused music education programs, he has observed the non-musical benefits achievable through such. In 2006 he embarked on a study tour of programs in the U.S. and Bolivia; and in March 2011 he returned to North America as one of six international recipients of New Horizons International Music Association fellowships, to study the development of group music activity in the over 50’s demographic. Graham is currently undertaking a PhD research project through the University of Sydney in socio-cultural development through music programs in marginalised communities.
