This project began in 2013 under the title, "The Arts and Healthcare Field in the United States". The project was originally founded and hosted by the University of Oregon Arts in Healthcare Research Consortium (UO AHRC), and was carried out by Katie White Swanson as a terminal research project for the University's Arts and Administration Program, which is now embedded within the UO School of Planning, Public Policy and Management.
In 2017, the UO AHRC generously released the project to the National Organization for Arts in Health (NOAH), where it will continue to grow and develop as a resource for the Arts in Health field.
Individuals are encouraged to explore the map and add entries for themselves and the Arts in Health institutions they work with. This resource is meant to be interactive and we depend on your additions to keep this map growing and reflective of the field of Arts in Health!
