UPDATE
At a meeting of arts and Cultural Ministers on Friday 12th April 2013 Minsters endorsed and acknowledged the value of the arts and health framework; and agreed to champion the framework with Health Ministers in their jurisdictions.
Ministers agreed that Victoria and South Australia would be the lead jurisdictions to progress the Arts and Health framework.
We are enthusiastically awaiting further developments and will keep you posted.
BACKGROUND
The National Arts and Health Policy Forum held at Parliament House in June 2012, the Ministerial Working Group on Arts and Health asked the Arts and Health Foundation to facilitate consultation on the Draft National Framework for Arts and Health. Feedback on the document closed on 2nd December 2012. View feedback received and submitted to Jennifer Layther of the Ministerial Working Group on Arts and Health.
