Travellers on our tour will be initiated into the wonders of the hidden corner, the questioning riddle, the sounds of resilient heatbeats.

The Ipswich Festival Top Of The Town Party will host a night of tours where artists will lead walkers through an environment they have created in which audience, artist, place and space can engage and interact.

Ipswich was severely affected by the floods of 2011 and is consequently a target community for the Creative Recovery Pilot Project.  Consultation has acknowledged that the voice of young people was missing in the response and ongoing recovery initiatives put into place within the Ipswich community.  This initiative is seen to respond to the identified need to broker relationships, identify youth leadership and look at bridging activities that will give voice to young peoples needs.

A small team of emerging artists are working together to reflect on the notion of resilience, how it works in their lives and the life of their communities.
