Since 2001, Somebody’s Daughter Theatre has been working in collaboration with Gateway Community Health Service and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development on an intensive creative arts-based education program with a small group of rural teenagers called ‘HighWater Theatre’ (HWT). All of these young people are aged between 12 and 16 years, are not in the formal education system and haven’t been for some time. The Award-winning program is committed to supporting marginalised young people and finding pathways back into education and training.
