Fact Sheet - Review NRM Plan
29 May 2013
Published To
Description

The Eyre Peninsula’s Natural Resources Management Board (the Board) is undertaking a review of the region’s Natural Resources Management Plan (the Plan).

The current Plan was implemented in 2009 and has provided a direction for all individuals, businesses and organisations involved in managing the region’s natural resources. Over the past four years, progress has been made in achieving the targets set out in the current NRM Plan, and it is now time to review the NRM Plan.

Feedback will inform and guide future actions that may include a revision of the region’s Plan. This is the first step in preparing a relevant future plan.

The NRM Plan outlines a strategic framework for the management of Eyre Peninsula’s natural resources.

An online survey has been developed to capture inputs on the regional NRM plan.

The Board encourages all involved in the management or use of region’s natural resources to participate in the survey. Your input will guide future actions for the region’s natural resources management.

The survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/epnrmplanreview and will close on the 7th June 2013.
