Getting around - Botanical Gardens

There are many roads, paths, boardwalks and a train-track that run through the gardens which make them easily accessible by a variety of people at all different ages. This environment proudly showcases Bundaberg’s history including the reconstructed original home of the city’s famous aviation pioneer, Bert Hinkler. Each section of the garden intertwines with another and there is never a dull sectio. This shows that in the reconstruction of the gardens after the flood, the volunteers and Regional Council have stayed true to the natural and inviting form of this magical place.
