Description

The hessian lying here on the ground was introduced to the park by the Aboriginal Rangers. They are starting to propergate native trees to replace the Casurina trees that are now dying. These Casurina trees were planted about 30 years ago which is their natural life span. They will be replaced by a more diverse native planting of trees. These will also assist with keeping light from the beach.
