5 May 2009

Installed asleep on a billboard in Winston-Salem in 2009. "I get approached to make sculptures for donations sometimes, and generally I try to say “yes.” I did one for a Skate Park in Afghanistan. One for a Prisoner release fund for a prisoner who was wrongly imprisoned. I have made public pieces for installation pro bono. When you are an artist, people assume that you care about things, art and other things too. That you have an awareness of issues, which is generally true." -Mark Jenkins (Interview, November 22nd, 2013)
