Three Brothers Theatre

Three Brothers Theatre, located in Waukegan, Illinois, was the recipient of a mini grant from the Robert E. Gard Foundation.  The grant enabled Three Brothers to expand their children’s theatre and tour their shows to many Chicagoland suburbs, playing for children who would otherwise be unable to have the experience of seeing a live theatrical production.  Three Brothers has taken children’s productions, A Wolf at the Door, Prince Charming, and Three Bully Goats Gruff, to 6 different locations this year.  We hope to expand and produce more shows next year.  Visit our website and Facebook for more information on Three Brothers Theatre and our upcoming productions. Funding from the Wisconsin Arts Board made possible a symposium on community arts development and the arts.  Funding also made possible one-time mini-grants for activities or programs embodying  ideas discussed during the symposium, identified by board members.

This project was supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
