Edison Bird Festival
17 Dec 2013
Published To
Nestled between the North Cascades and the Salish Sea, the Skagit Valley has long been a haven for birds. The Edison Bird Festival began when local business owners Jim & Lisa Kowalski from Farm to Market Bakery and Wesley Smith & Andrew Vallee from Smith & Vallee sought to honor the unique birding culture of the valley. Running in conjunction with the Annual Skagit Flats Hawk Census, the Edison Bird Festival focuses on the art, conservation, and fascination of birds.
