The Seward Arts Council is thrilled to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Seward Music and Arts Festival in the fall of 2014. The festival will include a diverse lineup of over 20 live performances, locally made arts, crafts and food, as well as various activities for all-ages. The festival will be held in the last weekend of September in Seward, Alaska at the  Dale R. Lindsey Alaska Railroad Intermodal Facility - a heated, indoor venue.

Having originated in the fall of 2004, the Seward Music and Arts Festival has evolved and expanded immensely in its 10 years. Held the last weekend of each September, the festival is an anticipated celebration for both locals and visitors to conclude the busy summer season.

The Seward Music and Arts Festival continues its commitment to youth involvement, education, and creative inspiration. The Seward Arts Council promotes a family-oriented festival with children's activities and artist’s projects throughout the weekend; including the creation of a mural-in-a-day by members of the Seward Mural Society and a community art show.

The Seward Music and Arts Festival promotes Alaskan-made arts and crafts by welcoming nearly 30 vendors to operate at the festival, as well as allowing attendees the opportunity to place bids on many different goods and services donated by local businesses in a silent auction. Attendees also have access to a diverse food court, with a beer garden available for the 21+ crowd.

The community of Seward and the Seward Arts Council looks forward to seeing you at the Seward Music and Arts Festival!
