Fayetteville Roots Festival is a four-day urban music festival taking place August, 2014.  The mainstages will be hosted at the Walton Arts Center, with other stages including George’s Majestic Lounge, Greenhouse Grille, Kingfish Dive Bar, Fayetteville Public Library and the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market.

Fayetteville Roots Festival’s key components are music, food and community. The festival is a showcase of many of the elements that make Fayetteville a beloved cultural hot spot. The festivals slogan is “A Mountain Town in its Natural State.”

The ‘Roots’ element of the festival is dedicated to showcasing what makes this region of the Ozarks so amazing. Featuring a musical style that is heavily supported, created and somewhat originating in Fayetteville and the Ozarks as a whole. Supporting locally sourced food and restaurants, focusing on locally grown produce, locally raised meats and locally produced products. Elements of community represented at the festival will include local artisans, live art performances, local non-profit organizations and community action groups.
