The Creative Recovery Pilot Project was an initiative of the Australian Government, through the Australia Council its arts advisory body, the Aueensland Government, through Arts Queensland and the Creative resilience Alliance (Contact Inc, Feral Arts and Human Ventures).  The pilot was established to explore the role arts and culture can play in a community's recovery after being impacted by a natural disaster.
