Louis A. Bolduc leaves Quebec
13 Sep 1759

The picture shows the 1759 Battle of Quebec where the British are sneaking up the bluffs to the Plains of Abraham before beating the French at the capitol of New France. Not wanting to raise his young family under British, Protestant rule, Louis Bolduc left his boyhood home in St. Joachim, Quebec, to journey to Ste. Genevieve.
