We can only dig up coal once. We can grow food crops forever where we have good soil and water, so long as mining hasn't ruined these increasingly precious resources. 

Governments must put boundaries on where mining is allowed, so we have a future. No-till farming is sustainable; so is no-dig coal. Governments must say NO to coal and coal seam gas mining on land that will grow food.
