Comedying it up in North America!
13 Oct 2010

I returned recently from a 2-year stint in Canada, where I trained and performed improvised comedy with world-renowned company Loose Moose Theatre, and completed an independent residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts, to develop my new solo show. In July this year I was accepted into a prestigious masterclass in improv in New York, which allowed me to work with some of the best teachers in the world. The Lord Mayor's Fellowship really opened up my career - and my mind! - to my potential to create a successful arts career in an international context. The contacts I made on my fellowship trip to the USA were invaluable and gave me the impetus to take the leap into a longer period of development abroad. Back home now, my goal is to create a successful career based in Brisbane, but travelling to perform my work both nationally and internationally!
