Walking to School

Description

My name is Tenayah and I am 9 years old. When I walk to school I see leaves falling down and I see people walking to work and cars going past. On the way to school I see my friends. Also I sometimes pick up my cousin, Kyeema. On the way home I see natural grass around Waterloo and when they mow it, the grass goes a bit brighter.

When I walk it’s like a blur and I see very strange people walking past. In the morning I don’t really know these strange people who walk past. Even though I wake up early in the morning I can still sleep in for another 3 hours, I’m not a morning person and sometimes I meet up with my friends. And I talk to them while I walk. When I walk up Kellick Street, which we call the Big Hill, I have a heavy bag to carry and I feel tired and puff out and I drag my feet.
