Description
We are currently working with psychiatric services, homeless support organisations, social housing providers and others to create opportunities for people to access high-quality contemporary literary practice. Our aims are:

1. To become the key local provider of innovative participatory literature projects and activities of the highest standards for children, young people and adults

2. To proactively engage young people and adults from a diverse range of backgrounds in a culture of creative collaboration driven by the issues affecting them and the communities in which they live

3. To encourage, serve and develop the expressive life of South Australia through integrated literature and community activities programming at the centre and elsewhere.

4. To work with local and national partners to develop a carefully tailored program of youth, community and education work in schools, in communities and at the writers centre
