Description
Soundtrails is an app-based platform showcasing the stories, culture, history and heritage of towns and communities across Australia. Each participating town or community has its own unique soundtrail, and all soundtrails are housed virtually within the one, simple-to-use app.
Our producers work with local communities to create a body of sound stories that, altogether, form a soundtrail that provides an immersive experience of a place. Visitors and locals download the soundtrail to experience stories on location through their smartphone or tablet while walking around the area. Soundtrails can marry contemporary and historic stories as best fits the individual community. They are produced by world-class sound producers and range in styles from longer radio documentary format to shorter, evocative sound pieces.

Soundtrails launched Early September in three locations and is currently fielding interest from other communities.
