Change and Adaptation is a 3 year partnership program connecting arts, health and the environment. It was established with the awareness that change is the biggest driver in the contemporary world.

A Change and Adaptation program partnership between Country Arts SA and Murray Mallee Community Health Service.

In 2013 a series of 75 comedy, cartooning and song writing workshops held with 10 different Aboriginal groups throughout the Southern Fleurieu, Murray Mallee, Adelaide Hills and Mt Gambier regions generating a range of material about Aboriginal health and wellbeing, with an emphasis on tackling smoking.

The comedy material has been performed by artists Nancy Bates and John Baker at various functions and locations and songs from the program recorded on audio CD.

In 2014 ‘Healthy Me’ images were painted on Umbrellas and masks for the July NAIDOC parades in Murray Bridge, Meningie, Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Workshops were held with 10 different groups and/or schools to decorate the umbrellas and make the papier mache masks. Groups worked with Artists Bob Daly and Kalyna Micenko.
