This project is meant as a trial to see if PlaceStories would be a good way for community members of Trenton, New Jersey (USA) to document the diverse music-cultures of our city, and to explore the importance of cultural institutions in our city.

Participating community members will have the opportunity to share their stories online through the PlaceStories program and on DVD as part of an upcoming exhibit featuring music-cultures of Trenton at the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion, June - September 2011.

The trial and, if sucessful, the project will be led by Dr. James M. Day, adjunct professor of music at The College of New Jersey and students of his undergraduate course The Arts and the Community.

This first story focuses on the Trenton Children's Chorus.
