Description
This fest's mission statement is "to bring the best independent documentary films in the world, and their filmmakers, to Sonoma County." Sebastopol is a small town 55 miles from San Francisco.
SDFF's 2014 program included several rural-related docs, including Uranium Drive-In, American Commune, After Winter, Spring, and Northern Light. This year, in addition to a much anticipated Les Blank tribute and several of Blank's own films, the line up includes a large number of docs with an eye on the rural. Just to list a few: Dryden, Cotton Road, Solitary Plains, Tracing Roots, On Her Own.
You can find the full line up and trailers for each on SDFF's site.
