Description
This annual festival happens in Telluride, Colorado but the films go on a worldwide tour. Many of the venues they stop at are rural cinema venues. Many of the films themselves concern rural spaces and the American Wilderness.
Mountainfilm supports preserving cultural and ecological diversity: "Started in 1979, Telluride Mountainfilm is one of America's longest-running film festivals. Mountainfilm is dedicated to educating, inspiring and motivating audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving, adventures worth pursuing, and conversations worth sustaining."
The 2015 films will be announced in early May. To host a tour show, get in contact with folks at Mountainfilm!
