Colouring In by Ann Stephenson

"I used to love to colour in as a youngster.  To get a new packet of coloured pencils and textas was always a thrill.  I would spend many an hour on the floor or at the kitchen table, pencils and textas scattered everywhere, enchanted as the pictures I coloured in were brought to life.  Such masterpieces I created.

Now as an adult I have rediscovered the absolute joy of colouring in.  It's a great way to switch off from the grown up world and immerse myself in simple pleasures.  So I chose this photo because I got spend a couple of peaceful hours today on this lovely lazy spring Saturday laying on the floor of my lounge surrounded by a rainbow of coloured pencils creating an enchanting masterpiece. ....Bliss."
