Time to Monitor Mice

Description

Eyre Peninsula farmers should start monitoring for mice now as they begin preparations for seeding. That’s the advice from EP Natural Resources Management Board, following reports of high mouse numbers across the region, particularly in areas that were not affected by mice last autumn.  Farmers should consider baiting if they have numerous active mouse holes in their paddocks. For more information, call your local EPNRM office or go to www.pir.sa.gov.au/biosecuritysa/nrm_biosecurity/pest_animal
