A Place Called Walapunpa documents a family’s return to their homeland of Walapunpa, after over thirty years away. Filmed by Media Mob, the documentary focus's on a four day cultural camp at Walapunpa, where participants engage in traditional bush practices including: hunting, bush medicine & tucker collecting, cooking, art, traditional dance and painting.

The aim of the camp is to reconnect the people of Mungkarta with their country, to introduce the children to their homeland for the first time, and to learn the stories and traditional ways of their ancestors.
