For spring break a few years ago I took my children on a tour of the places I had lived.  It was not a huge success, hauling the girls from one coal camp to another along the Kentucky-Virginia border.  My brother joined us to visit Highsplint in Harlan County, Kentucky.  The houses were all torn down by Duke Power some years ago but some folks up Clover Fork keep a little museum going on company property.  The mantrip behind us is right about where our house stood nearly 50 years ago.
