Macquarie 2100 consists of 100 members from around Narromine, Trangie, Nevertire, Warren, Nyngan and Collie. The aim of the group is to maintain an ecologically sustainable, economically viable, socially cohesive community in the lower Macquarie Valley. The groups focus is on sustainable farming systems, native vegetation cover, increased soil health, increased community awareness, salinity and water efficiency.
