This group works with local council, Taronga Western Plains Zoo and local community groups along the Macquarie River in Dubbo. The group activities include strategic future planning, planting of local native species along the river and floodplain, control and removal of invasive weeds, rubbish removal and designing and installing interpretive signs to convey information about the local physical and cultural environment.
