Easy Ways to Check Your Name on the PMAY List
29 May 2020
Description

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has brought about a sweeping change in India, helping Indian citizens from both rural and urban areas to become homeowners more affordably. As per the official PMAY website, over 100 lakh homes have been allotted to beneficiaries under this scheme in 2019.

Based on PMAY eligibility criteria, applicants can apply for a home loan under the PM Awas Yojana and enjoy either a concession on the interest rate (as per PMAY - Gramin) or an interest subsidy via the credit-linked subsidy scheme (As per PMAY - Urban) to repay the loan with ease. Further, PMAY has resulted in the construction of newer, more affordable and eco-friendly homes throughout the country so that homeowners have pocket-friendly options.

With the PM Awas Yojana application deadlines falling between March 2020 and March 2022 based on different beneficiary categories, many have already applied under this scheme. In order to check if your name is on the PMAY list, follow these easy steps.
