Clasping Hands
17 Nov 2011
Published To

This is a photo of Bradley Iseppi clasping hands with his friend Dave Jock Lindsay.  They both participated in Bunbury's Bridging the Gap Project which set out to honour the contribution of the railways to the City of Bunbury.  Jock is a retired railway man who lobbied for the creation of the sculpture.  Bradley played a prominent role in the design by inspiring the lead artists with his sweeping charcoal drawings which resembled intersecting railway tracks.  Their hands were cast in plaster, and can be seen in the piston above Bradley's head in the photo.  The sculpture, Circus Train - SLOW DOWN! was unveiled in September 2010.
