Electronics stores hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. If this old and used electronics is placed in a landfill, then hazardous materials can leach into the soil and groundwater. This affects human health as well as the environment. To overcome this problem, end of life hardware destruction is needed to handle electronic waste safely and diligently.
