How to update D-link router local Firmware manually

Follow the below steps carefully to update your D-link router local Firmware manually:-
Step 1: Check the connection.
To upgrade, make sure your device is connected to the router with a Ethernet cable; also make sure to use a laptop that is connected to the same router as the device; do not perform this method with your device over a remote connection to the Internet.
Step 2: Download the latest firmware onto your computer.
Go to mydlink download page to download the firmware file to your device and unzip it to your desktop or a folder on your computer.
Step 3: Open the web interface of the device.
Run the Device Setup Wizard and note the IP address of the device.
Enter this IP address into your web browser to access the web interface of the device.
Enter your device username and password, and then click OK.
Step 4: Perform the firmware upgrade process.
Go to the MAINTENANCE tab> Firmware Update> Firmware Update Window, click Browse ... to select the saved firmware file, then click the Upload button to start the update process.
The firmware update process starts and takes about 2-3 minutes.
Note: Don't start or use other apps during the upgrade process, and don't tap Stop, Restore, or Reload in the browser.
Step 5: Check the firmware version and refresh the page to view your device.
When the upgrade process is completed, click the Firmware Update link on the left to return to the Firmware Update page.
