Hi! I am Regional Landcare Facilitator for the ACT.  The ACT covers 2,352 square kilometres, of which 54% is conservation areas, 23% rural lands and 7% forest and water catchment areas, with much of the remainder urban land. With a population of 355,869, the ACT is highly urbanised, but contrary to popular belief we also have a strong and enduring rural community. Canberra is a great place to work in natural resource management; the community are involved, passionate and unwavering in their commitment to improving the natural environment and the way we live in it.
