The employee fundraising from 2011 will be directed to the new Western Sydney Mission Australia Centre, which will be a purpose built facility designed to have a major impact on reducing the levels of family homelessness in high "at risk" areas of Western Sydney.

Like the Mission Australia Centre in Surry Hills, Sydney, the new Mission Australia Centre in Kingswood, Western Sydney will deal holistically with homeless issues impacting on families at risk.

Mission Australia estimate that each year, more than 1,000 families at risk will benefit from this initiative. This is an initiative that Westpac are fully supportive of, having donated $150k towards the project in 2011.
