Depsite my previous story about community constultation and mapping coming to an end, community consultation will be an ongoing process to the end of the CDEI role.

My view point of the community development process is the ability to be flexible within a staged approach. That is every day upon talking to communities and indivuduals whether informally or formally, ideas of reacovery projects are discussed. My approach during these conversations is to identify the potentional project, understand if it fits into the funding guidelines. If it does, the project is added to the CDEI workplan with an achieveable timeframe.
