A group of interested comunity members from the Nieghbourhood Centre have been able to work in partnership with the Aged Care residential facility to start a coffee house. The idea behind the coffee house is to bring community to the aged care facility via the coffee house. The development of this activity will enhance the communication to this vulnerable group in times of disasters. There is a competition at the moment to name the coffee house. The opening of the facility is planned for Mothers Day.
