FilmLife exists to capture the stories of organ donation and transplantation through the eyes of young filmmakers. On Saturday 18 February at the FilmLife Project Festival Night, a selection of short films were screened and live-streamed online. The evening kick-started DonateLife Week 2012 and have since received national exposure through the Organ and Tissue Authority website. Films were judged by an expert panel including prolific filmmaker Paul Cox and international director Ana Tiwary.

Winner *Best Film* - 'Ask the Hard Questions'  by Josephine Lie, is a piece that playfully approaches the issue of organ and tissue donation through a curious exploration of some of lifes more peculiar questions.

The FilmLife Project is a collaboration between The GroundSwell Project, Nepean Intensive Care Unit and Information and Cultural Exchange
