Don Bruce of “Meriwong” within the Little River Catchment of NSW manages saline areas by promoting groundcover with perennial pastures by maintaining more than 80% ground cover. Don protects native vegetation and rehabilitates degraded native vegetation, particularly in high recharge areas. Don manages the salt scalds by fencing out the discharge site to control livestock access.
