Mothers Day was the day decided to open the cafe at the  Emerald Avolon Serniors Residential Care faciility. A collaboration between  ten (10) partners from business and community agencies made the day an excitiang one for the seniors. Moyor Peter Maquire officially opened the  cafe. He shared in the excitment of  residence having the opportuntiy to take their visitors to the cafe and have a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon.

Underlying the opening of this facality is the start of sharing communication with the seniors in the community and ensuring this opportunity of building capacity is a further resource of communication  with disaster preparedness.
