The Environmental sub branch of the group coordinated a serrated tussock control project for 2011-2012 under the Weeds of National Significance program delivered through the CWCMA,  11 properties from the valley participated.
The Environmental Sub-branch of the group welcome enthusiastic members and landholders to be involved in activities around protecting the natural resources of the valley.  Contact Fiona on 63375837.
The group formed in 2004 in response to mining threat of the then Frapples block managed by the NSW State Forests.
A successful campaign was carried out by the community resulting in 1,238ha of land being gazetted as a Eusdale Nature Reserve formally escalating the conservation status of the land. 
  • The group raised it's own money to employ a consultant to produce a conservation status report of the area.
  • The incorporated body meets annually for reporting on on-going issues involved in the negotiation of land tenure change.
  • The group were awarded Nature Conservation Catchment Champions by the Central West CMA in 2007.
