Dancing For Recovery

Writing is only one of many ways to release emotions about a traumatic event.  In this timeline I explore the dance philosophy of Danielle Wilson who draws upon free movement to make a contribution to healing people from the internal shocks of cyclone Yasi.  This was a project not just for dancers, but for anyone who could move and was over the age of sixteen, although Danielle has also done extensive work with children in dance as well

Dance for Recovery was funded by FNQ Volunteers, Queensland and Australian Government,  Isay project,  Connecting Community Voices, and involved many volunteers and a small budget for production for contributing Artists.
