Increasing rates of coastal erosion from increasing storms and sea level rise will lead to loss of sand dunes and threaten coastal infrastructure into the future. Decisions will need to be made as to whether we protect, accommodate or retreat at many coastal locations. The Seaspray Surf Lifesaving Club will construct a new building further inland from this site to be less vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
